De skilfully orchestrates highly developed drawing techniques together with a kaleidoscope of colour across her canvases. Contrasting opacity with transparency, positive with negative; she fills her contemporary interpretations of landscape, flowers, and figures with colours of exuberance, sumptuous celebration, and an organic neo-futurism.
De Gillett Cox is an Honours College Graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Queensland College of Arts (QCA), Griffith University, Brisbane, (2012). Her highest purpose is to fill the world with celebration, joy and beauty: from her paint- spattered little heart to yours.
