Natalie Jane Parker is an accomplished wildlife artist who has been capturing the beauty of Australian fauna and flora since 1996. Based in the serene Hunter Valley in NSW, her studio is surrounded by 50 acres of natural bushland that fuels her creative vision daily. Known for her intricate detail and lifelike depictions, Natalie works with acrylic paints on clay-coated board, a surface that allows her to achieve the precision her subject deserves. Her signature? A discreet ant or two, often tucked into her compositions as a playful personal hallmark.
When she is not in her studio, Natalie is out in the field gathering reference images from National Parks, Wildlife Parks, and Animal Rescue groups, furthering her mission to inspire awareness through art. Natalie has a deep connection to the environment and dedication to wildlife conservation. In addition to her fine art, Natalie has illustrated over 30 children’s books, and her work is featured on calendars, greeting cards, homewares, cross stitch, puzzles and more- sharing her passion for Australia’s unique wildlife with audiences around the world.
