Description

Malinche – Mexican Hada

Malinche lives on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, a place that was once the center of the Mayan Civilization. You might find her near the nearly one-thousand-year-old, Chichen Itza, an historically valuable and very large pre-Columbian city. She loves exploring the ruins here with her small friend, Chica, the tamandua (anteater).

She is named for La Malinche, a Nahua woman, who by acting as Cortez interpreter and guide, was partly blamed for the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire.
