A typical Australian scene: caught in the last rays of light, these beautiful Eastern Rosellas wait patiently for the drought to break.
The original work was a commission for a relative who's parents were celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. They lived on a rural property, so I thought it fitting to paint these lovely birds perched on a quintessential farm gate, complete with rusty chains and barbed wire. I decided to release this image as an open edition print.
