Description

Bennelong – Austalian Mimi

Bennelong lives in the red center of Australia’s Northern Territory, near the massive sandstone monolith, Ulurur. It is a sacred place to the indigenous people of that area, in the middle of the Simpson desert. Bennelong loves to explore his homeland with the emu, he calls Kalaya, and bearded dragon, he calls Nyaram.

He is named for Woollarawarre Bennelong, a senior man of the Eora people, who was captured by the first Govenor of Australia in the hope of establishing a relationship with the local aboriginal people.
